While in the city of Austin, you have the option to give a visit to Texas Capitol Visitor's Center where you can find a lot of exhibits. Also, you can go to Texas State Capitol which is a historical building some 50 miles from downtown Austin. And it would certainly add something new to your life experience.

And for a cultural experience, your next option is Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum which is only few blocks north of the Capitol. There you’ll get the whiff of history by watching Story of Texas film, and you’ll come closer to exhibits that will take you to explore all facets of Texas history. Also, The Blanton Museum of Art is a wonderful place you would like to visit and get pleasure from every moment of your stop at Austin city.

For an afternoon drink, you won’t find better than the Scholz Garten and University of Texas Campus. The Scholz Garten has over than a century and a half, and it has witnessed the Texas politics as it was a best hang out of Texas politicians. While at Austin, and you still have some time, you can go to LBJ Presidential Library where you can see exhibits that link to the time period of the tenure of the 36th President.
